Jacob Schuetze Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Regulators should not restrict my ability to invest in public securities, including leveraged or inverse funds. These types of investments are a valuable addition to my portfolio and provide additional diversification. For example, I have acquired leveraged inverse funds a few months ago (since the downturn of the stock market), in order to protect the upside of previous investments and offset the losses with the gains of the leverages inverse funds. This has helped my portfolio to remain constant, even though the broader market has decreased substantially. Regulators should not create barriers that make it harder for the average investor to acquire these valuable investments.
