I oppose restrictions to my right to Invest! What gives YOU the right to decide what public investments I'm allowed to invest in? If the securities are public, then as a public citizen, I should be able to invest in them as I see fit. Not as YOU see fit! ALL citizens should have EQUAL access to all PUBLIC securities. They should not be limited to only citizens with a certain income level, or those with a particular level of savings. That's discrimination! And perpetuates class level segregation!
As an investor, how am I suppose to increase wealth if you restrict the tools at my disposal? Yet the wealthy investors continue to have access to these tools and are allowed to hedge their investments, getting wealthier. The playing field needs to be EQUAL for everyone.
