I'm a liberal but the Free Market, in spite of the fact that it's far from perfect, is one of the great things about America.
Don't mess it up with your regulations. It regulates itself for the most part. I'm not sure about High Speed Trading, but I know that with the modest amount of money I have, I'm learning through direct participation and trial and error, the ONLY way to learn! Even theRobinHooders and Redditers have learned that way, often through a few mistakes but as the saying goes "You learn by your mistakes" to which I add "If you don't make mistakes, you don't learn!"
All these proposed regulations on the investors are terrible. Let us do our own thing. (And I'm old and retired)
Look what happened when China tried to regulate its market. Huge loss of market value. You should learn from that mistake...
