Forrest Friedrich Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I strongly oppose setting up special regulations in regards to individuals trading in leveraged and inverse ETFs. They can be an important part of any active investor's portfolio!
As an example, I have a small portion of my net worth invested in inverse ETFs right now. That investment has helped my overall investment account handily beat the overall market so far this year. Am I thinking that I'm going to get rich overnight from this hedge? No. But it is helping offset today's inflation effects.
Please stop trying to protect people from themselves. No 'special tests' unless they're applied to all investors, all the time.
