I am sick and tired of government officials trying to protect me from myself. I am fed up with people who think they know what's best for me and want to force it on me regardless of what I think about the matter. The price of freedom is responsibility. I will gladly pay that price. For what is worth I have a finance degree. Have passed securities licensing in a prior career, and passed level I and II of the CFA. Even if I had none of this education and experience it is still MY responsibility to manage MY financial affairs. Not yours. Keep people from stealing from me. Keep people from cheating and lying about financial instruments. Protect me from others. But don't presume to protect me from myself. That arrogance is not appreciated.
