Elliott Fuhrmann Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

N/A
I am heavily invested in leveraged products as part of my long term investment plan. I am only invested in etfs or etns which reflect indexes or sectors that I am confident will go up over the long term. I am ok with regulators asking investors about income or experience level, but there shouldn't be any sort of ban on leveraged products. We are adults and should have the legal right to trade as we please, just as hedge funds do. Also, with the stock market down so much this year, it would be outright immoral for any regulatory body to force liquidation of holdings, if that is being considered. I plan to continue buying these ETFs and ETNs at discounted prices throughout this current negative environment so that I will make great returns over the long run. Please err on the side of freedom and individual responsibility. Leverage is not for everyone, given their risk tolerance or time horizon. But we should have the choice.
