Elizabeth Cheng Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

N/A
I'm writing in opposition of the proposed restrictions to the right to invest in leveraged ETFs. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I have 20+ years of trading experience and leveraged funds is one strategy I employ as part of my investment plan.
Capital markets in a democratic society should enable its people to choose the public investments that are right for them and their families. For the regulators to impose restrictions under the guise of protecting the savings of its constituents is to say that investors do not know what they are doing. I do not need these measures imposed on me. I would hope that each investor and trader is given the freedom to learn on their own which investment trading strategies are best for them. Thank you.
