I am very concerned to hear that you, as a regulatory body, want to take away the option for investors to invest in inverse funds. These funds are and have been a big part of my investment strategies over the years as an investment option to protect my downside risks in periods of market volatility. I, as an individual investor, should have the option to choose what I want to invest in.......not some government regulator. Additionally, i totally understand how these investments work and the risks involved. Just like any other investment options, I should not have to take or pass some test prior to being able to purchase a leveraged or inverse fund. I hope you will take into consideration how any action taken by FINRA to reduce or eliminate the option for the common investor to invest in these types of funds. This would severely and negatively affect my, and others like me, ability to utilize investment strategies that i have used for years. Thank you for your time and consideration.
