Deborah Miller Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I am disturbed that once again the wealthy are being given special privileges when it comes to investing. I should be able to decide if public securities such as leveraged and inverse funds makes sense for my own investment portfolio.

I am perfectly capable of studying and understanding financial instruments and by limiting my access to funds you are limiting my opportunities to provide for my family's future.

These types of fund help to increase my returns of investments that I can't get using the typical investment instruments that would be available if these investments are restricted.

By putting restrictions on access, you are limiting my right to invest and make the same kinds of returns that only the wealthy have been able to access in the past. These types of funds have been very important to my portfolio and my growing investments.
