David Vandeveer Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08
David Vandeveer
N/A
I am a small-time, retail trader/investor. I regularly use and understand leveraged and inverse funds and use those to manage risk and on occasion to speculate. I do NOT feel that it is a regulator's responsibility to limit my choices when it comes to investing. Nor do I have the time or desire to jump through hoops to comply with imposed restrictions. If someone doesn't understand those types of funds it is their responsibility not to use them, not your responsibility to remove their ability to use them. Effectively you punish all of us to prevent a few from getting hurt.
