To whom it may concern, Instead of regulators choosing which investments I can and can't use, I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public. I shouldn't have to go through any special process before you can invest in public securities. If a product is complicated, there are already rules in place for accredited investors. I am perfectly capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds, along with their risks. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to your investment strategies, especially now with the market volatility. The idea of solely relying on modern portfolio theory as an investment strategy is dated. Inverse funds, specifically, help me hedge my investments against loss and prevent me from having to liquidate my entire portfolio and recognize sizeable capital gains. Thanks.
