I do not believe I should be restricted from buying leveraged funds. In my opinion if you were going to have exposure to the market in the form of an index fund or ETF why would you not be leveraged. Long term you can make 2 to 3 times the amount of money on your investment portfolio for retirement. For example my brother in law owns QQQ and in my opinion it is foolish not to own TQQQ. Over the last 5 years or 10 years the returns are astronomically higher with the triple leverage. I understand it doesnt give an exact 3x but it is much more than 1x.
