As an experienced investor who has successfully used leveraged and inverse ETF's in my portfolio for years, I feel they are a useful tool that helps me get the returns I need for a secure future. At times I use inverse ETF's to protect my other investments. At other times I use leverage when risks are low. I don't believe the concepts of leveraged or inverse ETF's are difficult to understand so there is no need to require special permission or training. Afterall the wealthy have had access to this sort of opportunity for years and not allowing the average investor access feels unfair and unjustified and contributes to the growing wealth gap.
