Chris Strickland Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I oppose restrictions to my right to invest. I do not believe any regulatory agent should be allowed to restrict any portion of the public from purchasing public investments. I do not believe one should have to pass a proficiency test to be allowed access to investing. Risk is an important component of any investment. Risk is not something that can be regulated away. Each individual investor has to choose an investment strategy balancing their own specific risk-reward comfort level. I, myself, have some investment accounts which I am comfortable with a higher level of risk for a potential greater reward. Other accounts I take less risks with. There is no need for regulation here.
