I am opposed to the proposed rules adding restrictions on purchases of leveraged investment products for individual investors. Individual investors should have the ability to choose what strategies to utilize and the equities they purchase. Investing with leveraged and inverse ETFs provides me the ability to take advantage of market movement and sector activity without risk of concentrating into individual stocks. Investment products in the open market should be available to all individuals and not limited. Where it has been discovered there are failures of providers and advisors to clearly communicate the operation and risks of these investment products, additional requirements for disclosure should be facilitated.
