I strongly oppose the proposed restrictions to certain public investments deemed too "complex" for a number of different reasons.
First and foremost, I value freedom. I do not want my freedom to access and invest in a broad range of investment products to be restricted. Public investments should be available to the public and not just a privileged few who are deemed worthy by a regulatory body.
Secondly, I believe in personal responsibility. I invest my money in the public securities I chose and I take responsibility for researching and understanding the risks involved in investing in certain securities.
Lastly, I seek enhanced returns. Investing in leveraged ETFs is an important part of my globally diversified portfolio and my investment strategy. I utilize a small percentage of these securities in order to aim for higher returns while maintaining a diversified portfolio.
