Educated investors such as myself should NOT be restricted from purchasing inverse and/or leveraged investment products such as ETF's with this investment objective available through Proshares and other fund managers.
The funds objectives and risks are CLEARLY stated in the prospectus for any investor to inspect for themselves and perform their own due diligence.
These types of investments are very important to me and many others in the investing world, FINRA has no right to take them away from me or any other investor for that matter!
