I've used leverage as part of a well-researched and highly-effective investment strategy for the past 14 years. This allows me to grow my investments - responsibly - much faster than would otherwise be possible without leverage. I should have the right to choose whatever investments make the most sense for me, and be expected to handle the consequences of any mistakes I make in their use. Investors already have to sign a separate agreement to trade leveraged funds that alerts them to the risk. That warning and come common sense should be sufficient for any rational and thinking person.
