I opposed these restrictions! Everyone one should have the right to choose any public investment they feel is right for them and assume the risk. Limiting the right to invest to only certain groups of people is wrong and creates an unfair advantage! Public investments should be available to ALL of the public, not just the privilege. This is unethical!!
By taking away this right from certain groups of people to protect me from risk you also take away the possibility of success for me and my family. It seems like this regulation aides MORE to the success of the elite and those with access to the elite and their resources than protecting those FINRA deems unworthy. It is everyones right invest in any public investment we choose. My money, my choice!
