As to the warning I received from ProShares concerning a radical and unprecedented threat by regulators that could affect my right to buy dozens of popular public investments, including leveraged and inverse funds, it is my opinion that these products have, in fact, helped to level the playing field for the individual investor, and therefore, provide the balance, at this moment in time, required to keep the stock market healthy, aka liquid. That regulators lose their nerve when things get dicey is no surprse to me, but rest assured, I will spread the word to my children and their friends what a [REDACTED] the market has become, until I feel I am repaid, if regulators decide to follow through on these restrictions.
