As an American and a vetran U S Army officer, I oppose restrictions to my right to invest for myself. I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged few. I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
I do not need these measures imposed on me!
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I use leverage and inverse funds as a limited portion of my total portfolio to hedge my portfolio and protect my investments when the market is in a downtrend and to seek enhanced returns when the market is in an uptrend.
Please do not restrict my ability to mamage my own money!
