- I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
- I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed upon me.
- Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio, and they help to hedge investments and allow small exposure to targeted investments without the need for leverage subject to margin calls.
- These restrictions are another form of class warfare - where the people with money are allowed to accumulate wealth at a greater rate than the general public, further fueling the wealth inequality in this country. This policy also has race implications when you look at who holds the money in this country - largely white families after a ccertain net worth bracket.
