Me not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am well-educated and fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on my right to invest. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. Leverage and inverse funds, help me protect (hedge) my investments and/or help me seek enhanced returns, and I use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio. For example, this year thanks to leveraged ETFs my retirement portfolio is only down 4-5% whereas the major indexes are down 15-25%. Thus, inverse ETFs are an integral part of my retirement planning and without I will not retire when I want to. Kindest regards, Dr. Arnout Ter Schure
