FINRA should not take away rights of retail investors in trading leveraged ETFs. US market is not the only place to invest these days and it might force retail investor to invest more in risky offshore markets. If the leverage ETF investing is taken away from retail investors, it will widen the spread between bid/ask. Not to mention the number of jobs that will be lost in the financial industry. Limiting retail investors choice makes them more suspectable to market manipulations and unfair trading practices. Rather than limiting investor choice, FINRA should ask brokerage firms to focus on investor education, transparency and risk disclosure.
