Please do not further restrict our access to the investment strategies previously only available to insiders/ISDA holders. Vanilla 60/40 allocations are getting killed, and there is essentially no place to hide from crushing inflation, outside of alternative strategies (e.g. managed futures/systematic trend following, inverse/leveraged ETFs, etc.), which are thankfully reasonably accessible and hopefully growing in availability. Retail investors need more, not less, access to strategies that can effectively hedge and take risk intelligently, and can compete with institutional money, which already has the insane advantage of being able to take massive risks, privatize their profits, and socialize their losses. Don't regulate us- regulate the institutions and dark money pools so that we don't end up footing the bill when they over-leverage and blow up in the next recession.
