Angela Stallkamp Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I was made aware this morning of a potential change of policy regarding leveraged and inverse funds access. I am highly disappointed to hear this as I currently utilize both leveraged and inverse funds as part of my investing strategy, especially useful to me in this challenging market.
I don't understand what the back story is on why the FINRA is considering limitation or why this is happening now, but I am very concerned and disappointed about this.
I am a responsible adult that knows I am responsible for my stock and fund investment choices. I also have agreement with my brokerage that I am and will be responsible to all of my stock/fund investment choices. I am sure you are familiar, but wanted to note that my brokerage currently provides information and warnings regarding the more risky type trades, providing me with an extra warning prior to allowing me to move forward without an understanding of the risk.
I will be very concerned and discouraged if my choices are restricted. I hope that this will be reconsidered and that no restrictions are placed. And that it is understood and supported that individuals make and are responsible for their own choices.
