I use leveraged and inverse funds as a way to balance my portfolio and am fully aware of risks involved. This allows me to manage my investments on my own. I strongly believe that this and all investment options should be available to regular retail investors and I should not be made to pay commissions to a fund manager to be able to utilize these instruments. This is an important part of my investment strategy and I will have much reduced income and growth potential if I am not able to use these funds. I might have to use further riskier instruments like options to counter lack of leveraged and inverse funds to get similar potential in my portfolio.
