As a retail investor the main comment I have about our regulatory system relative to the markets is the penalties need to fit the crime. As it stands our penalties are nothing more than a small cost of business, and profits made far exceed the fines. How do you expect to deter illegal behavior if the penalty for committing it is less than a poke in the chest?? Increase the fines to double or even triple the profits gained from illegal behaviors and watch as they slowly fade away. The INACTION or our markets regulatory entities is nothing short of pathetic, and leads many to believe you are in on the illegal action with the culprits. Until I see otherwise I will believe that. This is why many turn to crypto, because we feel we can’t trust you to hold these bad actors ACCOUNTABLE. We are citizens of America and make up the backbone of this country and the markets. We are being squeezed dry every day by brokers and it’s honestly a TRAVESTY. Get it together over there and quit pretending to protect and uphold a fair and free market. Because right now it is far from one. Shawn Biesel
