Violations should be higher, much higher. This ways future violations will be avoided. It just does not fit into my head that some institutions get a penalty of $10,000 for a violation when they made millions committing the violation??? They are going to do it again and again. This is one of the reasons why I am considering never coming back to invest in the stock market. The stock prices are affected by the malpractice of the wrong doers and all they get is a slap on the hand. And I dont think im the only that thinks like this. I feel like the stock market is a cave of thieves and the retail investors are the victims.
