I've read many of the comments and overall, I echo the same sentiment. The one thing I haven't read about is the dark pools. When I first heard of it I honestly thought it was fake. It sounded too nefarious to be real. Turns out dark pools are very real and need to be properly monitored if not banned all together. They seem to be a sort of free for all for fraudulent trading. Using AMC as an example, most days 60% of the daily volume is routed through dark pools. That's insane. I also would like to bring into question the self reporting of short shares. People will do anything for money and allowing them to SELF REPORT their short sales just makes it easy. Phantom shares, synthetic shares, naked shorts, none of that is going to get reported. Thanks for your time.
