Brandon Thompson Comment On Regulatory Notice 21-19

The market is completely unbalanced when it comes to retail trading versus institutional trading. We need more transparency especially when it comes to institutions or hedge funds hiding their positions within the dark pools. They hide these positions and FTD's in the dark pool and through options trading. It is absolutely apparent there is naked shorting going on with certain stocks in the market such as GME and AMC. Finra should acknowledge this and do everything possible to alert the market on these manipulation tactics and frankly, referring to the naked shorting, crimes. Finra must work with the SEC to acknowledge and hold these entities accountable. If there is no proper regulation and accountability, there can never be a free market, and thus, no reason anyone should invest their money into the market.
