Qualification and Training Requirements
Prerequisites

Candidates must have either:

  • Three years of retirement plan related experience; or
  • Two years of retirement plan related experience and:
    • Series 6, 7 or 65 license(s) 
    • State-life or annuity insurance license
    • Investment Advisor Representative or Registered Investment Advisor credential

Optional online course that prepares candidates for the TGPC Credential Exam

Continuing Education Requirements

40 hours of continuing education every two years, including two hours of ethics
