FINRA TRACE Securitized Products Data Feeds Production Parallel and Nighty Data Replay
Beginning Monday, May 19, 2025, FINRA will introduce the MOLD/UDP 64 protocol to the TRACE Securitized Products Data feeds – SPDS and SPDS-144A.TRACE data feed clients must adhere to the new protocol, new IP Addresses and feed changes by this date.
FINRA has updated the SPDS and SPDS-144A specifications, IP address configurations and the MOLD/UDP 64 specification.
SPDS and SPDS-144A legacy IP Addresses will no longer publish data after the close of business on Friday, May 16, 2025. Any data recipient that wants to continue to receive SPDS and SPDS-144A data must be able to process the new MOLD/UDP 64 protocol, IP addresses, and feed changes,
Production Parallel Data:
A parallel production period will run from Monday, April 7, through Friday, May 16, 2025. During this time, the legacy SPDS and SPDS-144A and SPDS and SPDS-144A (MOLD/UDP) feed versions will concurrently broadcast weekday TRACE transaction production data.
FINRA does not recommend using SPDS and SPDS-144A (MOLD/UDP) data for presentation into client production data feed engines until May 19, 2025.
Nightly Test File:
Beginning Monday, April 7, 2025, the SPDS and SPDS-144A nightly test file replay will be disseminated. TRACE data recipients are invited to process the replay via the new weeknight test addresses. The nightly test file is planned to be available from approximately 9:30 – 10:30 p.m. ET each weekday evening. The file data contents will be static and will only change periodically until the production date.
