FINRA ADDS OTC Reporting Facility (ORF) Trade Journal User Guide

FINRA has replaced the Automated Data Delivery System (ADDS) OTC Reporting Facility Trade Journals (v1.3) document with the

. FINRA ADDS is a secure website through which firms may request trade journals containing transactions submitted to FINRA TRAQS.

The ADDS User Guide contains information for the fields included in the trade journals, but also illustrates guidance for gaining access to the trade journals, downloading files, how to enroll in optional services, and related fees for the service. In addition, the ADDS User Guide provides greater detail regarding the data type of each field included in the file. Changes to formats from the Trade Journal document include:

• ORF file date format is now YYYY-MM-DD
• As-Of Indicator field includes R as possible value
• Method of Entry field includes B as possible value
• Match Status field no longer includes A as possible value
