FINRA Entitlement Privacy Statement: Regulatory Users of Web CRD and IARD

All users of these systems, including regulatory users, agree to the

when logging onto Web CRD® or IARDTM. Among other things, the Privacy Statement alerts all users that FINRA uses personal information provided by users through the systems solely for identity verification and regulatory purposes. The only information required from regulatory users by FINRA, as part of the entitlement process, is the user's name, telephone number and email address. FINRA recommends that users provide a work/office telephone number and email address when providing this information. Under the Privacy Statement, any information provided by you may be used by FINRA for identity verification or regulatory purposes, such as to contact you to research a system issue.

The normal operation of the Web CRD and IARD systems does not require that regulatory users provide any personal information in the course of using those systems. However, the Web CRD and IARD systems have free text fields where a user could enter personal information, for example, by inadvertently cutting and pasting text that contains personal information. We strongly recommend that regulatory users not provide any personal information when using the Web CRD and IARD systems, including as a response to a security challenge question.

If you have additional questions about the FINRA Privacy Policy as it relates to a regulatory user, please contact the FINRA Regulatory User Support team.
